Help Desk in Lagos newly opening

On September 2nd, 2019 the Nigerian Women Association Verona (NWAV) newly opened the Help Desk in Lagos for awareness raising on human trafficking. For the next 12 months, victim returnees and their families, as well as potential victims will have a permanent reference point in Lagos where addressing their needs, questions and problems.

The Helpdesk will be open three days a week and operated by two social workers of the Institute of Social Work, with which NWA has developed long standing collaboration.

This will also promote the institutionalisation of awareness raising and allow building the capacity of social workers engaged with the Institute of Social Work, beyond INSigHT Action.

The office is situated in Ikeja, at N. 4 Ojolowo street, Opebi – Ikeja, Lagos.

Our opening days and time: Mondays and Wednesdays (9.00am to 4pm); Thurdays (9.00am to 2pm).
